Erin Porterfield serves as Executive Director, Heartland Workforce Solutions. Erin is responsible to execute the mission and vision of HWS including the administration, management, planning, evaluation, policy development, personnel and public relations.
Prior to joining the HWS team, Erin was the Executive Director of Metro Area Continuum of Care for the Homeless (MACCH), a collective impact organization to end homelessness. Additional experience includes leadership with Nebraska AIDS Project, Health and Human Services - Child Protection Services/Family Preservation Unit, and adjunct faculty at UNO Social of Social Work.
Her personal mission is to eliminate barriers and provide opportunities for people to reach their full potential. She is the proud mom of two, Beatles crazy boys, ages 8 and 11.
Keith Station currently serves as Director of Business Relations at Heartland Workforce Solutions(HWS). His primary focus is to lead the strategic business engagement efforts for the local workforce investment board that serves Douglas, Sarpy, and Washington Counties.
Prior to joining HWS, he was an Executive Director within YMCA of Greater Omaha Association. Previously, he was Assistant Director for the Omaha Sports Commission, and has experience engaging business through economic development and destination marketing with the Irving Texas Convention and Visitors Bureau, Central Florida Sports Commission and NBA Indiana Pacers. Keith holds a Master’s Degree from Indiana University, and B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.

Tammy Westfall serves as the Manager of Solutions Integration at Heartland Workforce Solutions (HWS). Tammy’s primary focus is to manage the work of the HWS Board of Directors regarding the Workforce Strategy and Innovations Act (WIOA), and workforce system efficiency.
Prior to joining the team at HWS, Tammy was the Deputy Director of Policy and Quality for the Department of Health and Human Services Division of Developmental Disabilities. Previously, she was the Vice President of Operations for Mosaic Nebraska and was also the Executive Director of Youth Care, Inc. Tammy holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa.
Tammy is a servant leader and knows how imperative relationship building, partnerships and the power of collaboration is to achieve positive outcomes. Tammy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, time outdoors and traveling.
