LAID-OFF, self employed, displaced homeworker

If you are in any of the above categories, there are support services and benefits designed to help you, including the Adult Career Program (below). Click here to learn more about Dislocated Services.

If you meet the qualifications (authorized to work in the U.S., laid-off worker, identified as low income or as having a significant barrier to employment) you may be eligible for the Adult Career Program, comprehensive support services that can lead to long-term employment success. Once you’re accepted into the program, the commitment of your time and effort will make the difference. A Career Specialist will be devoting personalized attention to your job search and helping you explore your options. If needed, skills to prepare you for the workplace will also be addressed.

Job and Career Fairs bring employers and prospective employees together. The most positive aspect of attending a career fair is that you can meet employers in person. In today’s job market, it’s extremely rare that you can experience one-on-one contact with an employer. For more information about how to make a job fair a successful experience, click here.
